Buddy App – Mobile App Prototype (Seminar Project)

Developed as a near-final prototype in a Mobile Seminar course, Buddy is a mobile app designed to address a real user problem. Its purpose is to boost motivation through social interaction. The project followed a full product development process, adhering to industry standards and the Double Diamond methodology, including:

Discover: Conducting research, competitive analysis, user interviews, and formulating HMW (How Might We) questions to understand the problem space and uncover user pain points.

Define: Synthesizing insights to define key user needs and project goals, and creating a Product Requirements Document (PRD) outlining features, functionality, and design rationale.

Develop: Ideating solutions, creating wireframes, and building an interactive prototype to explore concepts.

Deliver: Conducting usability tests and A/B testing, iterating on the design based on user feedback.

The result is a high-fidelity, interactive prototype demonstrating both the proposed solution and the structured design process, ready for final iterations but not a finished product.
